About the Webinar
The discussion will revolve around: Food and Nutrition Security; and Sustainable Farming Systems and Natural Resource Management.

This is the second of a three-webinar series promoted by the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA).

The discussion will revolve around: Food and Nutrition Security; and Sustainable Farming Systems and Natural Resource Management.

The session will be a partnership between SEARCA, the Philippines’ Department of Agriculture and its Bureau of Plant Industry, and Farmer’s Factory.

The SEARCA Online Learning and Virtual Engagements (SOLVE) webinar series aims to highlight specific concrete and practical actions being implemented on the ground as a way to disseminate and promote these to the wider sector possible.

Ultimately, as a leading enabler and champion of excellence in ARD in Southeast Asia, SEARCA now further consolidates its efforts in making sure that all the necessary actions will indeed directly reach and would significantly benefit the Farmers and Farming Families.

The initial and the next SOLVE sessions have also been announced here at FARM-D. They are:

  • 28 April: Food Insecurity in the Time of COVID-19 Pandemic
  • 13 May: Home Gardening Made Easy: Making the containerized and modular farming sustainable
