Professor Bernardo Sáenz Cardona, Technical Secretary, National Cacao Council of Colombia. Since 2002, he has been a professor at the University of Applied and Environmental Sciences (UDCA) in Colombia. Professor Sáenz joined the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia fifteen years ago with the development program with the title of assistant cocoa and banana projects. Six years earlier, Professor Sáenz was the national head of the cocoa project of the diversification program. He worked for Cacaotera del Oriente de Caldas SA for four years, too. Sáenz was a professor at the University of Caldas in his faculty of agronomy for ten years.
