Herbert Talwana holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium. He has variously worked as a biological efficacy evaluator of agrochemicals, an organic crop production systems specialist, an agricultural management advisor and an agricultural sanitary and phytosanitary Inspector. Therefore, he has practical experience working in the Ugandan Agricultural Research, Training and Development sub-sectors, and the working knowledge of agricultural systems in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania.
