This presentation is an overview of the operations of the Commodity Risk Management Group (CRMG) of the World Bank and focuses on its Index-Based Weather Insurance and Market-based Risk Transfer products. Case studies of operations in India, Ethiopia, Malawi and Ukraine are also overviewed, in addition to operations of CRMG including disaster risk financing, access to global reinsurance markets and knowledge transfer and education.
