This presentation introduces the methodology developed for a pilot zone in Nicaragua and seeks to find opportunities to replicate the methodology in other countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa. It presents an overview of climate change variables which lead to changes in food system assets and therefore require adaptive responses and changes in the components of food security and also addresses several questions related to climate change and food security.
