Using the example of Blue Mountain Coffee in Jamaica, this study analyzes the feasibility of index based insurance as an alternative to traditional indemnity insurance in this area, which has traditionally been a failure. Several models and images are provided in this presentation, however, that do not have descriptions of what they mean.
