India: Farmers should use scientific techniques for agro-forestry to improve economic condition

The Pioneer (Dec. 17, 2012) | The State Labour and Dairy Development Minister Harish Chandra Durgapal said that in addition to agriculture, farmers should also use scientific techniques for undertaking agro-forestry which will not only make them self-reliant in agriculture but also improve their economic condition through agro-forestry. Durgapal said this while addressing farmers at the inauguration of the three-day forest science fair at the Forest Research Centre in Lalkuan.
