All Africa (August 20, 2015) During the last Growth and Transformation Period (GTP), the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) had released some 274 variety technologies which could be getting into the farming system. It is also said that EIAR had released 60 varieties of crops in 2014-2015, of which 30 per cent of them are responding good to the moisture and warmer stress environment.
