ICE cocoa rallies to three-month high, raw sugar turns lower

Business Recorder (Aug. 6, 2013) | Cocoa futures on ICE rose to their highest level in three months on Monday, as cool and dry weather threatened to diminish crop prospects in top grower Ivory Coast, while arabica coffee hit a one-week high and raw sugar slipped. “I think the end of mid-crop isn’t looking great in West Africa and the beginning of the main crop isn’t looking fantastic either,” one London cocoa dealer said.
