Awoko (Apr. 30, 2013) | Minister of Agriculture Food Security and Forestry, Dr. Sam Sesay says, Government is committed to the improvement of Agriculture in Sierra Leone and to empower farmers by providing mechanized farming equipment to farmers and allocation of 10% of the national budget to agriculture sector in Sierra Leone, which is very visible over the years by the increase in yield of rice production from less than 1 metric tons to 2 metric tons.
