Afrique en Ligne (Dec. 29, 2011) | Cotton production in Benin has increased from 130,000 tons last year to 300,000 tons this planting season, PANA learned from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Thursday. According to statistics released by the ministry, the area planted increased to 200,000 ha, representing nearly 15% increase over the past season.
