DAWN (Dec. 19, 2011) | Wheat aphid is a serious threat which requires proactive measures along with multi-pronged control strategy to protect the staple food grain. Punjab Agriculture Research Board (PARB) sources told APP on Monday that for the last few years it had started feeding on wheat at milky grain stage when it was not advisable to spray non-selective pesticides on a mass scale as a sole agent for its management.
