Cotton-Use Forecast Lowered as Global Outlook Sours, USDA Says

Businessweek (Dec. 9, 2011) | Global cotton consumption will be 2.6 percent lower than forecast last month on diminished prospects for global economic growth and market-share losses to polyester, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
