Typhoon ‘Mina’ damages over P1.22-B worth of crops

PhilStar (August 31, 2011) | Typhoon Mina (international name Nanmadol) destroyed crops worth P1.22 billion in northern Philippines, the agriculture department said Wednesday. Typhoon Mina brought heavy rains that flooded 55,359 hectares of rice growing areas and damaged 46, 554 metric tons of rice.
