Sustainable growth possible for South Sudan through agriculture – FAO

Biz Community (July 11, 2011) | ROME: Africa’s newest nation, South Sudan celebrated its independence on Saturday, 9 July 2011. The country faces many challenges in building a strong and stable economy that supports the food security and livelihoods of its population. The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has been working in South Sudan and plans to further assist in developing a strong and sustainable agricultural sector.
