This brochure details The Rabo Sustainable Agriculture Guarantee Fund (SAGF), which has been initiated by Rabobank International in response to a call for Public Private Partnerships. The participants of the Guarantee Fund are the Dutch Ministry for Development Cooperation (DGIS), Rabobank International, Rabobank Foundation, Cordaid and Solidaridad. The participants within SAGF are committed contributing to achieving sustainable changes in the approach of lenders in developing countries towards the markets and/or financing structures into which they have been introduced.
The SAGF aims to enhance the access of selected small- and medium-sized producers of sustainable agricultural products in developing countries to working capital credit (pre-export trade finance) on the basis of commercial and sustainable terms.
