This project continued testing a dual vaccine against rinderpest and lumpy skin disease in cattle, and against peste des petits ruminants in sheep and goats in Kenya. The trial showed that at 24 and 36 months, challenge results were similar to those at the 6 and 12 months stage tested in project R5033. Over 50% of animals were solidly protected while the remainder all recovered from a viral challenge that killed most non-vaccinated animals.
