AllAfrica (November 24, 2014) | Murang’a has taken advantage of the on-going rains to harvest run-off water for irrigation. Governor Mwangi Wairia said 14 dams and water pans have been constructed in the semi-arid parts of Makuyu to make the area arable even during dry seasons.
