Taiwan: Typhoon Soulik causes damages for more than NT$ 1 billion, farmers badly affected

Asia News (July 17, 2013) | In addition to the terrible loss of life, the main impact of an event as devastating as the typhoon that hit the island of Taiwan is on the economy. Crops are lost, school buildings are damaged and equipment and machinery are destroyed. The government is providing low-interest loans to jump-start the most affected areas.
