Namibia: Grain Silos Boost National Capacity

allAfrica (Aug. 29, 2012) | The newly launched grain silos at Tsandi in the Omusati Region have increased the country’s national grain storage capacity to 14 000 metric tons. The three silos at Tsandi have a combined storage capacity of 3 000 metric tons. The complex was constructed at a cost of about N$23 million. The silos will store omahangu and maize.
