The Star (Feb. 8, 2012) | Cases of coffee theft are on the rise in Kiambu county, DC Alexander Mativo has said. Speaking yesterday during the commissioning of the construction of a water harvesting pan in Thingidua sub-location, Mativo said the value for coffee has gone up. He said it is regrettable that farmers in Kiambu have cleared vast coffee farms to give way to the construction of commercial and rental houses.
