IBN Live (Feb. 2, 2012) | Nitish Kumar government has decided to make available bio-fertilizers together with the packets of seeds to keep the soil productivity high and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizer in Bihar, State Agriculture Production Commissioner A K Sinha said today. Sinha claimed that the use of green fertilizers like Sesbenia and bio-fertilizers like compost had reduced the dependence of farmers on chemical fertilizer in several parts of the state and therefore it has been decided to promote Sesbenia farming in five lakh hecatres area for making available green fertilzer.
