Black Sea Grain (Jan. 30, 2012) | The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has forecast stable export prospects for agricultural products in 2012. Accordingly, while both volume and value were impacted by world market movements in 2011, exports of agricultural products are forecast to be stable this year. For rice exports, MARD expects that the volume of exported rice in 2012 will be around 6.8-7.3 million tonnes.
